What is Virgil Entertainment? Virgil Entertainment is a hip/hop and R&B record label founded by Mr. Jevon Hawkins on January 2, 2006, here in Dallas, TX; with the intent on bringing something new and fresh to the music industry. Mr. Hawkins has an extensive background in the music industry, first with a BA in Radio/TV/Film from the University of North Texas in Denton, followed by internships at Polygram/Motown, Sony Music, and Universal Music/Motown, and later a promotions job at KRBV Wild 100fm in Dallas, TX.
Virgil Management is an artist management company based in Dallas, TX, and we will specialize in developing and managing the careers of hip hop, r&b and rap acts. We will develop a reputation as an artist- friendly company whose main focus is always on providing high quality musicians with a platform to develop their careers and to assist them in reaching a larger audience locally, nationally and internationally.
Our approach to every artist we work with is to offer a broad representation service which covers each element of the artist’s recording and performing career including executive production of the recording process, negotiation and development of relationships with record labels, digital distributors, publishing companies, and booking agents worldwide.
