Description: I am a NSCA-CPT certified professional fitness trainer. I also currently own and operate my own construction company, which is how I came up with my idea. I was trained by professionals before aquiring my own certification. I have had lower back problems and no matter what treatment my trainer came up with, it never worked. After I obtained my certifications I still followed the same routine exercises that both he and I agreed would be beneficial. It wasn't until lying in bed in pain that I decided to restructure my exercise regimen. I researched my fitness data and programs and realized that I was working out all wrong. Have you ever taken the wrong road and didn't realize it until much later, well I did. All the fitness sites that I have visited all have the same concept of training. They ask you quite a few questions regarding your health and risk status, perform test (muscular and physiological) and at the end they enter the data collected into a pre-formatted program that is written to specify what work-out regimen would be best suited to carry out their goals based on their answers. However, the accident rate on the job site across the U.S. has not declined. Most research shows that even vibrant, healthy, and athletic workers are receiving injuries as much as those who do not participate in regular exercise. Have you wondered why, with all the gurus out there and money individuals fork out to trainers, that there are so many insurance claims by workers. I have the answer. Even though all forms of physical fitness or muscle stretch is good for the body not all are unique to the individual. Would you imagine giving a secretary the same fitness routine as you would a factory line worker? I wouldn't either and the reason is simple occupational situation. You see even though we all may use almost every muscle in our body every day, we use some more than the others. Now imagine the muscles you use predominately all day doing the job you do. Now imagine someone with your same physical health, gender and age. Now imagine them working in a factory on a line or in the oil fields or in a main corporate office building. Just because each one of you seem to have the same characteristics physically you don't use the same muscles predominately in the same way everyday. So why would I give you a routine designed for everyone else in mind. My business/website will focus on the exercises that optimizes efficiency in the work place. I am currently only in the planning phase due to lack of start up capital. Once I do have the finances I need I will revolutionalize the way trainers look at training while I set a new safety prevention hallmark. If they can see the benefits of sport specific training then I am sure they can realize the importance of occupational fitness training.
