We are in a Daycare desert. There is 1 daycare in my town which is growing at a rapid rate. There are new apartment and mini mall complexs popping up all over my rural area, but no daycares. About 18 months ago, I tried getting The Gracie Learning Center off and running. I had everything lined up to include land from city, blueprints, contactors and a $3 million dollar loan on my head. We literally got stuck on the downpayment. $400k stopped us from building a 17,000 sq foot building - that could service up to 200 children in our area. I am just a single mom. I don't have money to invest into it and need help.
