Viewpoint Pest Management is a start-up organization providing pest management services to the Northern Virginia market. Viewpoint has combined several key elements that will make it an instant player and profitable within it first three years. It will be the most premier pest management service available due to its "Red Carpet Treatment" approach to service, its customized service plans, and the experience of its owner. Its primary focus will be to provide professional feedback to control and prevent unwanted pest with minimal pesticides as possible. The service includes treatments for common pest such as ants, spiders, crickets, roaches, and rodents. Viewpoint also provide services for specialty pest such as fleas and ticks, wood-destroying insects, and bed bugs. The customer base is a mix of 10% commercial and 90% residential from the Northern Virginia communities. Viewpoint has depended heavily on word of mouth advertising and lead-based sales to generate new customers. I started Viewpoint Pest in November of 2009 on a part-time basis and expect to finish 2010 with sales over $42,000. Viewpoint has maintained a positive cash flow in its first year in business. I expect sales to increase from $42,000 in the first year to more than $160,000 in the third year. I am now operating Viewpoint Pest full-time and expect to hit my first 200 customers by March 2011. I am looking to secure funding for the purpose of operating capital. I have nearly 9 years of experience in the industry with over 6 years as a Service Manager for a large pest control company.
