Description:
Bumps N’ Bruises Pediatric Urgent Care, PLLC (Bumps N’ Bruises) is a start-up company that provides pediatric urgent care services to children from birth to eighteen years of age in the Mansfield, Texas. Bumps N’ Bruises second location in Benbrook, Texas is scheduled to open the first quarter of 2015.
Bumps N’ Bruises works in conjunction with patients’ pediatricians, providing after-hours care when patients’ primary care provider is either closed or booked for the day. Our facility provides on site X-ray, rapid tests for Strep, Influenza, Mono and RSV; as well as blood chemistries, kidney and liver tests. Designed to be a convenient extension to the patients' primary care physician, Bumps N’ Bruises sends follow up electronic medical records to patients’ primary care provider within 24 hours of the office visit; allowing the referring physicians to stay up to date with records, procedures performed, and medications prescribed to their patients.
Bumps N’ Bruises sets itself apart from the competition and is revolutionizing the pediatric urgent care marketplace by focusing on one key concept: Treating patients and their parents as customers, not just patients. To that end, Bumps N’ Bruises instituted an industry-first curbside nanny service to assist parents with siblings and sick children in the waiting room; a five-minute initial evaluation guarantee; and, a continuously cleaned and disinfected facility with the cleanest waiting rooms in the industry.
Unlike other pediatric urgent care centers, Bumps N’ Bruises was founded with the intention of, and is structured to, expand into additional markets. Many pediatric urgent care centers are limited geographically either by linking their name to the geographic location, being a part of a local children’s hospital or simply by not having a distinctive name and/or logo.
