The JAZ Group, LLC helps physicians and hospitals form Accountable Care Organizations (ACO's) - Medicare plans of their own.
We will help them create systems where physicians can benefit from building efficiencies - this is actually new in healthcare, but Medicare is in dire need of meaningful HIT efficiencies - 10% of populations are Medicare and that will grow, however that trust fund is running out of money fast while Baby Boomer physicians are retiring.
So Medicare needs hospitals and doctors to do more with less, and will reward them to generate efficiencies.
We not only help doctors form the reimbursement methodology proposal for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Studies (CMS) so they can realize stronger revenues by creating efficiencies (like other businesses) but we will then link up the players within each ACO as well as these entities nationally so they have better costs and leverage in a number of areas.
We will also develop the necessary Electronic Medical Record overlay (HIT) that physicians will need to manage the other types of care - home health, hospitals, nursing homes, etc.
This secondary product holds world wide potential, as most continents face similar healthcare challenges.
