Description:
Painfull Xtremes LLC. Is a women-owned BMX bike riding facility serving the Omaha area located in Greenwood, Ne. Jennifer Davis and Laura Wood, the owners, are seeking $750,000 to purchase/Lease property, construct the facility and provide adequate working capital for anticipated start-up needs.
Currently, BMX bike riders have been forced to leave the local skateparks, due to size restrictions and rapidly expanding numbers of users of the parks.
We will strive to provide a safe sports environment to meet the specific needs of BMX riders and excellent quality products and services. These qualities of our business will ensure that customers and members will continue to use our facility repeatedly. The safety and satisfaction of our customers is our top priority. All staff members will undergo First Aid and CPR training before they will be allowed to begin employment with our company. We will strictly enforce safety regulations at all times throughout our facility and create an atmosphere that projects excitement and caring.
The funds sought will be sufficient to operate as an ongoing profitable venture. Future expansion phases are planned and will increase future profitability as they are implemented.
With our thoughtfully selected management team and staff members, the entire operation will be a carefully controlled environment. The quality products and services that we will offer will assist our company in securing a sizable portion of the Extreme Sports market.
Painfull Xtremes is an extreme sports facility that will be separated into two main parts which provide an Extreme Sports park and skateboard sales.
The purpose of the skateboard and accessories area is to provide an in-store area for skateboard sales. This area would be dedicated to the Pronot™ line of skateboards. Pronot™ is a custom style of skateboard that will be hand-made and custom designed by the tattoo artists on location. It has a unique shape and design that has never before been introduced into the skateboarding field. The shape of the board will contour to the rider’s feet, subjecting the rider to more maneuverability and more control of the skateboard. The internal composition of the skateboard is very lightweight, but very strong in texture lessening the breakage rate. This altered composition of the skateboard from that of which is most commonly used for skateboard designs provides the rider with a stronger foundation and lighter total weight of the skateboard. These skateboards can then be customized with artwork that is hand-painted or airbrushed. It is then protected with a unique finish that provides a smoothness and strength incomparable to any other line of skateboards available.
The Extreme Park pertains to a designated area for the use of skateboards, roller blades, BMX bikes and Freestyle Motocross riding. This area will be provided for entertainment and recreational purposes. The riders entering the park will be required to wear safety equipment, sign or have a guardian sign a release of liability waiver, and provide proper I.D. which would be kept on file, and ride at their own risk according to warnings posted.
The combination of these products and services into one facility would bring business from the local residents and also nationally recognized acts or persons from all over the United States. Some of the nationally recognized acts that could possibly be scheduled for charitable or special events would include persons such as Brian Deegan, Bam Margera and Tony Hawk. Such promotional activities and demonstrations would propel the business to the point of being one of the most well known facilities in the nation, in a very short period of time.
Painfull Xtremes will be located in Greenwood, NE just 20 minutes west of Omaha off I-80 exit 420. This location was chosen because it is undeveloped farmland. The land is a very low, bargain price at this time, but will rapidly be developed by the expansion project between the Omaha and Lincoln area. This area has always been farmland and small hills. This land would be perfect for building a skate park and bmx/motocross course because it is the unfarmable or low productive land that would be utilized for the construction of the facility.
This location in relation to our main target market is extremely good. With our main target market being persons between the ages of 12-25, with a strong emphasis on college students, the location is perfect to grab the attention of the college commuters. There is inarguable proof that some of these college students are stopping at that exact location to skate the big construction pipes that have been left at the area and it is a short 20-minute drive from either Omaha or Lincoln alike.
There are numerous residents in the area that own and ride BMX bikes, dirt bikes, four-wheelers and ATVs. This is a perfect location to build a facility for the use of these vehicles, and to save the farmers in the area the hassle of often having these vehicles ridden through their fields and other farming property.
Traffic patterns are continuous and repetitive with extremely easy access for our customers and suppliers alike. The crime rate for the area is extremely low and the quality of the public services in the area such as police, fire department and ambulance have a rapid response rate and will also be able to access the facility quite easily if necessary.
