Petconnect is a website connecting NYC pet owners to a pet-sitting network. The need for this network already exists, but no formal medium has been put together until now to connect City dwellers who need assistance taking care of their pets during business trips, holidays, when they need to work late. Until now, the only formal pet sitting "networks"
were expensive day care and boarding services. This site is an
alternative to this traditional services by matching-up like minded people with similar pets with people just like them in NYC. The site will be for "members only" and will cost about $15.99/year with $2.00 from every membership going to the ASPCA. There will also be adds for pet products, travel, etc in the site.
