It will offer the following unique services for brides not offered by our competitors: Custom made jewelry: One of our talented owners will be able to create the perfect jewelry to fit every bride’s dream. They will be able to find their jewelry and dress from the same store, so they won’t have to worry about the two being a perfect match. Drinks and Hors D’oeuvres: Whenever an appointment is made we will provide champagne, as well as other drinks and hors d’oeuvres to help create the perfect experience for our customers. Comfy chairs and couches: For the wedding attendants or others accompanying the bride, trying on dresses can make for a long day. We provide a cozy waiting area for them to sit and read bridal magazines while the bride-to-be tries on her choices. A spacious, comfortable dressing room: Our 500 square-foot dressing room offers two large, private changing areas, plus a mirror that allows the clients to see themselves from all angles. The store will be approximately 1,600 to 3,000 square feet in the area. Approximately one-third of the floor space will be dedicated to the changing room and customer lounge. The changing area will be located near the back of the store so that customers will be drawn through the merchandise areas to get there. We will have one larger fitting room (approximately 500 square feet) for the brides that schedule appointments. We will also have two smaller fitting rooms (each 250 square feet) for walk-in brides or customers that are part of the bridal party. There will be a restroom that will be accessible to customers. The cash wrap area will be located more towards the middle of the store with a cash register, computer, POS system, and impulse merchandising items. A private room at the rear of the store will include a small storage space, owners’ office, as well as a designated area for the jewelry to be made.
