Description: With so many un/UNDEREMPLOYED Americans, and so much Internet noise, how do Job-Seekers grab the attention of Employers and get Face-to-Face access? ResuMAIL is an interactive website which allows Job-Seekers to create and order gloss cardstock HeadShot Resu-MAILERs (8 ½ 2-sided print, folded in 3rds, sealed, & ready for address labels & stamp) by following simple instructions: 1) upload a resume 2) upload a headshot photo (and/or other images which represent achievements or skills), 3) provide name and basic info, 4) insert a brief cover letter, 5) choose from a variety of custom templates and then 6) order prints- OR customers can instead download the finished product (as a pdf file) and print it themselves. ResuMAIL can generate buzz as a news story, because unemployment continues to be a headline topic. If marketed correctly, the website has potential to generate new customers for national chains with printing services (like Kinkos, Office Depot, Staples, etc), or big online printing sites like VistaPrint, and the service could also be useful to employment agencies, as a helpful tool to their customers. I originally created ResuMAIL for myself, because I recently came to the conclusion that I need to do something more meaningful with my life (than sales). I have been inventing new products for many years, including H2Ocean ((URL removed)), which sold $10 million last year (unfortunately I sold my 1/2 in 2002). I wanted to create a unique way of marketing myself, and also my product inventions and logos. Since getting a job interview is difficult these days, I knew I needed to make something which grabs people's attention. By creating my own HeadShot Resu-MAILER, I can now MAKE* potential employers see me face to face, because I can send unsolicited 'junkmail' to a specific mailing list (*the Headline/Catch-Phrase for the ad campaign is 'Make them see you- Get in their Face!) As a median income salesman, and father of two, I realize that I don't have the capital resources necessary to advertise and market this new service sufficiently, but I sincerely believe that ResuMAIL has potential to be much bigger than me. There's junkmail for almost every kind of business and service out there, but nobody is doing junkmail for jobseekers. Not yet. I just want to be a part of it. With today's economy, it's possible that ResuMAIL can catch on as a new fad and can help get Americans back to work, by connecting unemployed and underemployed jobseekers (like myself) with employers in a unique and creative new way.
