Uwingit is an online service helping students determine which career path is best for them using the SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). The company is in it's initial stages of creation and is in need of funding to further these ambitions. The funding will be used to further the project into it's second phase which is to create an online social networking community that bridges the gap between college, high school students and professionals. Furthermore the site will use the social networking aspect to allow students to share information such as school papers, presentations, projects etc. with each other through an online library for easy access. The site currently contains videos of 14 majors in both engineering and design majors, which details all the primary prerequisites, uses, affiliations and more of each major. The long term goal of this project is for uwingit to be known as the "one stop shop" for all student career needs, but on a student to student to processional basis.
The primary basis for revenue flow is currently is through advertising.
