Livid Instruments manufactures consumer electronic instruments for the digital audio industry, and provides open source and commercial software packages to enhance the hardware products. Livid has established its brand with a growing list of dealers and distributors in over fifteen countries worldwide. Founded by Jay Smith, Travis Redding, and Peter Nyboer, Livid has self-funded its product development since 2004. In 2007 the company launched it's first major product called the Ohm controller. In 2008, building on the success of the Ohm, Livid advanced their technology and expanded distribution with the Ohm64 and Block controllers. Livid has also established a manufacturing and fabrication facility in Austin, Texas where it proudly makes all products. Livid is currently seeking outside investment to aggressively market their existing product line in a effort to secure their status within the audio controller industry, and take advantage of rapidly growing product opportunities.
