MHO offers the MDChat platform; a secure messaging and data/image exchange system that is cloud-based, mobile and HIPAA-secure. MDChat is the only system on the market that can authenticate users within and between organizations online in real time with no connection to the user’s IT systems making it possible for members to connect with any professional or patient anytime, anywhere. The initial version of the product is launched and tested and focuses on clinician-clinician and clinician-patient communication. Image viewing and sharing will be added within 8 weeks of funding. Phase 2 will enable universal access to data from care plan coordination apps, patient-monitoring devices and apps, EMRs and HIEs. The system is currently in use with nine customers in four states – 800+ users.
