Our consulting firm is 35 years old with established clients in the local government sector. We provide recession-proof, critical services for local governments with limited competition from just a few notable firms. In 2021, we posted $6M in gross revenue with 28 FTE and 15% EBITDA. We are working through a business ownership transition which is the reason for our funding requests. I'm working with a handful of minority shareholders to put together an LBO; we must make it work within our buy/sell agreement. Our primary strategy is to perpetuate the firm as a going concern. An alternative, less preferred exit strategy is to seek out a strategic buyer in the A/E/C industry space.
