My home town of Pinson, AL has a population 5,033 (year 2000) and is located about 20 miles north of Birmingham, AL. Pinson residents have to drive to the next city (Trussville, AL or Gardendale, AL) just to get a good meal. Residents complain about this constantly because of traffic in the surrounding cities and of course the rising price of gas. Our town use to be home to a "mom & pop" restaurant named "Betty's" - its property was bought out by CVS Pharmacy and has been closed now for around 8-10 years. I'm wanting to bring back this local type of restaurant to our town. We have a City website that I'm a member of and I've asked the residents of Pinson if they would like this type of restaurant back in Pinson and the answers have all been 100% YES! - All I'm lacking in is the financial backing, so if anyone out there is interested please feel free to contact me.
