Currently I have been writing to microsofts development team about my idea. They requested a prototype of my idea. When I asked what exactly they needed I was told a technical document on the device. I gave them a design for the box as well as a tech doc on the device components needed for development. I thought I would also include an explanation on how it would benefit their company as well as the industry as a whole. After sending out that information they responded with a very positive messege. they stated they were intrigued and that they appreciated that I was very passionate about my idea. However they requested that I "take it to the next level" and create a working prototype that they can actually see. it does not have to be fully functional but at least do the basic functions. This is a huge idea and its one of those moves that just "makes sense" in this particular market. All the technology that this idea requires is already out there and my set-up would be groundbreaking in my opinion. Unfortunitly for me I am currently leading a paycheck-to-paycheck type lifestyle. most of the ideas I have had in the past have been developed eventually. I have a nack for predicting future trends in technology, especially in the home entertainment field. For the record, I do want to say I am not a game developer. This is not a game pitch.
