I started Barely Naked Designs to make custom made clothing for women and men of color. Working in the fashion industry as a person of color I have seen and experienced many things. Too many companies are racial profiling people of color and putting out offensive marking ads that makes us feel uncomfortable to shop in their stores. I wanted to create a brand as a Black Business Owner that respectfully represents me and my community by making clothes with great quality raw materials that are durable.
My brand uses "Clo3D" which is a 3D garment visualization technology with true-to-life garment simulation solution. Allowing me to design a variety of garments from a simple blouse to technical outerwear with complicated pattern pieces and constructions.
