Hello, my name is Jane Wick. I am seeking your help in raising the capital to start a unique and one a kind business. This business will service a niche market that consists of more than one quarter of the populace in my county alone.
In 2006, the state of Ohio banned smoking in all public places and businesses. Then in December of 2007, the ban was amended with a few exemptions. In the 6 years since, there has been no liquor or alcohol serving establishments in the entire state, which have legal smoking. My business venture exploits one of those amended exemptions, therefore allowing me to open the only alcohol serving, entertainment establishment, to allow legal smoking in the state of Ohio.
In researching my target market consisting of adults , male and female, over the ages of 25 who smoke and drink, I realized that it made up 27.6 percent of the population in my county. I also found response to the idea of a liquor serving establishment that allows smoking to be overwhelmingly positive. In one poll, 80 percent responded yes when asked, would you prefer to patronize a bar that you can smoke in.
My goal is to raise $ 120.000, to be used strictly towards the startup costs of “The Smokers Wild Club”, the only legalized club you can smoke in, in the state of Ohio.
