Description: I recently opened a restaurant in Boynton Beach FL. I chose Boynton Beach because it is a community that has grown tremendously over the last decade. We been open about 7 months now, giving the circumstances of having three negatives against us (new business, off season, bad economy) I think we have done well. We are currently producing 20,000/ month in revenue and growing. Reasons for investing our simple: 1. We have a great track record of paying our bills, we just cannot get approved for traditional loans due to tightened credit market and if you ever opened your own business you know that every vendor has to hit your credit with an inquiry. 2. We have solid growth since the day we opened even under the worst conditions 3. We have generally no competition; South Florida is commonly associated with great Cuban Food and is becoming higher in demand. Boynton Beach has a population of over 60,000 and not one Latin restaurant within city limits. We have put our entire life in to this business, we let go of our cars and our personal savings just to make this happen. We went in to this venture thinking you have to take big risks to receive big rewards, but now that we have started we do not feel this was a big risk as we see the potential every day and feel we made the right choice. Most companies cannot look forward to showing profit for 2 years or more. If we receive funding to consolidate existing debt combined with an effective advertising campaign, we will move into profitability almost immediately.
