Cooper River Distillers (CRD) will be New Jersey’s first modern craft distillery, and will focus on producing unique, high-quality spirits including whiskey, vodka, rum, brandies, and eaux de vie. Our products will be produced from locally-sourced ingredients and will reflect the resilient character and rich history of the Delaware Valley Region, and specifically the city of Camden, where the distillery will be located. We will initially seek to establish our products as market leaders in Southern New Jersey, with measured expansion into the Philadelphia, Delaware, and New York City markets to follow as production and sales capacities allow. We may eventually seek to distribute select products nationwide in cooperation with select distributors and retailers. Our target for first-year production volume is approximately 23,000 liters of marketable spirits or 30,700 750mL bottles (2,560 cases). Our target date for commencement of production is February 1, 2012.
