Description: "RunRent brings formerly cost prohibitive Enterprise Property Management software to the small and mid-size landlords and property firms. RunRent delivers the full application suite over the internet direct to the business consumer for monthly fee eliminating the traditional needs of IT personnel, servers, and expensive infrastructure." Applications delivered over the web and leveraging a subscription model have made significant inroads in the Enterprise, Small, and Mid-Size Marketplace for the last 3 years to 5 years. Siebel was one of the first to enter this space with a strategic partnership with IBM. While this was a Siebel offering they were still highly focused on the traditional software sales model but SalesForce, now estimated at over $1 billion, went to market with SaaS as their only offering. Last year Google began offering SaaS for a full online suite of Office tools and business collaboration competing directly with Microsoft Office and SharePoint. The delivery model RunRent offers is compelling. Not only is it a functional property business application; but its availability to all business consumers large and small working in the office or remote. Large companies can maintain their technology strengths at decreased application and IT resources costs while small companies can enter the digital marketplace and begin to leverage technology previously beyond their budget allowances for a small monthly subscription.
