Description: My company, which is a Bed and Breakfast (called "Pousada" in Brazil), is looking for approximately $1.5M (depending on currency rate exchange at time of transaction) in small business funding in order to grow our Pousada startup. The Pousada is located in Buzios, Brazil with over 20 beaches and will have gross sales over $535K after the first year. Here are a few other important details: As a high-end provider of accommodation and leisure lifestyle options, we wish to obtain a permanent place in Búzios, Brazil. We wish to acquire national and international renown as a holiday destination within the next two years. We see it as our main mission to provide high-end/luxury accommodation at competitive prices to our target markets. The as yet unnamed “New Green Pousada” (“Business”) intends to enrich and contribute to the holiday experiences of people around the world by fulfilling customer wishes beyond their expectations. The Pousada has recently been constructed and has never been opened. It will be one of a handful of High-End/Luxury style accommodation with 8 rooms. It will also be the only American Owned and Operated pousada in Buzios. No new properties can be constructed for a minimum of 5 years, so this will be the newest and best boutique/chic accomodation in Buzios. My target market is both couples and families with or without children, singles as well as business travelers. I will market and advertise in the USA, Brazil, Spain, Europe and other target markets to build and grow the business. High Season starts in November, so I am therefore looking for funding to occur immediately so that I may relocate from Georgia to Brazil. I am mainly interested but not limited to these types of funding: -Equity Funding (Venture Capital, Angel, Private Equity, etc.) The funds will primarily be used for the following: -Business Acquisition, relocation costs, Luxury Beds and bedding and other furniture/accessories, computer equipment and other items detailed in the Business Plan.
