Description:
My Brother and I would like to start an Alpaca Ranch. The industry ie an extremely lucrative industry. We intend to Breed,Train,Show,Sell, and Transport our animals and sell the fleece. Also the Dung is a profitable sale. Exotic plant growers as well as farmers pay a premium for the dung wich is sterial when it is dropped. We intend on working the ranch ourselves untill such time as we grow and need to hire additional farm help.
Alpacas are a highly regulated industry as all importaion has stopped and all animals are registered and DNA tested at registration. The fleece is in high demand in the fasion industry, and in the private sector as well for hand spinners. Many different end products are made from Alpaca fleece including but not limited to socks, gloves, scarves, blankets, high end fasion and, casual wear.
