Description: The White Knight Society is a 501(c)3 corporation that was formed to produce scientific software freely available to the entire scientific community. We are currently developing molecular dynamics software and performing studies on the molecular dynamics of protein-DNA interactions. These studies are very important because they are an essential step on the way to "enzyme-mediated" gene therapy, an approach to gene therapy in which a protein docks the errant DNA site and corrects its sequence of bases. Our software will interact with the University of Illinois' VMD and NAMD software packages. Development time is expected to be approximately 18 months.
