Description:
My wife and I are interested in getting funding to open a private school in Brevard County Florida. This school will operate along the same lines as public schools but will be much different. Our students will stay in school longer through the day. After regular school, they will become Open water certified scuba divers. Through this program they will learn CPR,, First Aid, Introduction to the Marine Industry, assist with Sea World mammal research and recovery(with Sea Worlds Permission), learn about their environment through hands on experiences along the Indian River, learn wildlife and much more. My wife and I can sit and tell public schools that taking God out of our schools isn't the correct way to run the school, instead, we are taking action to start our own private school. We will help those kids that are having problems in regular school in Math, English, Science or other areas by giving them the answer as to why they need to learn these skills by applying them to Scuba Diving and other studies. My wife is working on receiving her Bachelors in Education and I am working on receiving my Bachelors in Fisheries and wildlife. This opportunity for investors is a huge step on our part and we hope we will not be looking for investors long. Through government grants and charges made on a per child basis, we stand poised to really make a difference in the lives of children in the state of Florida.
