Description:
Jameel Saleem has an extensive background in the film industry where he has acquired more than six years experience in production and screenwriting. After achieving success on various TV and film projects, Jameel relocated from Baltimore, MD to Los Angeles in 2007. After working with Alpha Dog Casting Director and Co-Producer Matthew Barry, Jameel decided to pursue his own creative interests in filmmaking and established Saleem Films LLC in January 2008.
Impressed with Jameel’s talent and drive, award-winning music video director and filmmaker Chris Robinson (ATL) supplied camera equipment for Saleem Films’ first short film, LET GO, an official selection at the 2008 Philadelphia Independent Film Festival. Jameel has also recently completed The Exploding Monroe Williams, a soon-to-be-released innovative short film about a suspected suicide bomber.
Jameel’s commitment to creating dynamic visual images and storylines, fuels his passion to explore concepts that intrigue audiences and continuously push the limits of traditional filmmaking.
