Description:
ESNA Human Development Foundation is a non-profit organization working with at risk youth. ESNA's main focus has been academic development of disadvantaged youth. Recognizing the disparity within the education system in the the inner city, ESNA is in the process of establishing a charter school for disadvantaged youth. The charter school will focus on education through performing arts. ESNA has an expressed interest in working with children with special needs from kindergarten through eighth grade. Through its performing arts program, ESNA is collaborating with other disciplines to introduce performing arts to youths who would not have had the opportunity to develop their creative skills. ESNA feels very strongly that performing arts motivates youth to excel in a learning environment. ESNA would like education to be an enjoyable experience that will impact children lives. Allowing them to productive citizens in the future.
