I started my bakery idea while in the military last year. Once I decided to go through with it I ended my enlistment, found a location and went all in. Unfortunately, I was unaware that people are readily available to take advantage of a new business owner and was unable to finish. I am currently baking from home and I am unable to keep up with the order requests that I get because of the space I am working from. I teamed up with the owner of a party store and sells cakes for her parties. I know that I am losing so much money because I am not in an actual commercial environment. I am willing to take advice business wise and any assistance there can be. I have a passion for creating amazing cakes and deserts and I am currently the only one in my area that offers a wide variety of sweets. From structured cakes, to cookies, cupcakes, chocolate candies and sugar candies. I have more variety in flavors and incorporate the public in coming up with new specialty flavors. I am in a military town that has thousands of people who have to travel over 55 miles to get what I offer. Just looking for a way to continue my dream.
