I am a residential builder in Crossville, TN. I am interested in a Structural Insulated Panel (SIPS) manufacturing facility for my area. I have been in contact with one company that produces SIPS and they offer to sell their technology and set up a plant for $450K. I am making inquiries with other SIPS producers. I personally own a 6.75 acre tract of land within 1 mile of Interstate 40 and this land has on it two buildings, one is 100' x 200' and the other 100' x 100'. Both with loading docks and ability to access with forklifts, etc. One market I see is SIPS for use with log and timber frame homes, which are popular in this region as second homes and retirement homes. A second market is a new development that will start next year locally that will use only SIPS construction. Based
