I am an artist seeking to start an aggressive campaign into the world of contemporary art. I have been doing art all my life and feel at this time I have a satisfactory portfolio to begin presenting to patrons, curators, and distributors. I seek funding between $25,000 - $100,000 depending on the investor/patrons level of confidence and expectations. This money will be geared toward studio space, materials, travel expenses for networking opportunities/events, and hiring an assistant (if funded at a higher level). This investment is geared toward angel or early stage investors who see intrinsic value in my work.
In return I would provide the following:
A 8-20% of all sales either for a negotiated period of time, until a certain dollar amount is reached, on a number of works sold, or any combination of the three.
I am very flexible and understanding of investors' risk tolerance. I look forward to making a viable and rewarding deal that all parties can be happy with.
