Description:
The mission of Durham Nativity School is based upon the highly successful model of other Nativity Network and Nativity Miguel Schools across the country -- to help break the cycle of poverty through a quality middle school education that will help empower each child to reach their full potential.
DNS is committed to bringing an education to socio-economically disadvantaged and at-risk boys who might not otherwise have access to a quality education in East Durham. The school provides the boys with emotional, social, moral and intellectual support through small classes, an extended day and a year-round program. We consider our mission to be an eleven year process with our students. Our faculty and staff work to help our students become young men ready for the rigors of college preparatory
