Description: My name is Iesha Price, owner of Merry Price Productions LLC. I received your contact information from Mary Long and would like to inquiry on an investment opportunity for you. I'm an upcoming Indie Producer out of Atlanta, GA. Last year, I produced a short film called Residence 906 (my producer debut). The drama/thriller was made up of a total of 50 cast & crew members. We received 7 awards to include an award for best producer with the Olympus Film Festival. The driving force for me as a young filmmaker and producer hands down is being able to display the talents of the diverse and unique group of professional and specifically talented women that I get to work with on a daily basis living right here in my hometown. With that said, I'm seeking Angel Investors for business/investment opportunities. The project I’m referring to is a recently optioned dark comedy feature; written by Carole A. Parker, an LA television and film writer. I’m also working with another investor who is willing to put up $45,000 towards the total $120,000 budget. I'm seeking $75,000 to complete the budget. I will provide the full film proposal & filming plan upon request. After Hours Logline- Corruption and mayhem ensues at an exclusive after hours nightclub with a handful of high profile celebrities along for the ride. Synopsis- After Hours is about corrupt gunmen Danny Peel & Vin Vargas who storm into an exclusive after-hours club. Their only play is to hold the joint hostage- to include celebs Bettie Black- faded /hot- 40ish alt rock star, Casey Montana- newly minted “Best Screenplay” Oscar winner worried about where her next story could possibly come from, Easy Washington- pro baseball player and Indie movie hunk Sky Masters. The SWAT team ultimately raids the joint in a face off; leaving one woman standing- Casey Montana: who now has a story to tell. Casey Montana (20’s). Hot shot screenwriter. Won the Oscar for her first screenplay, WILSHIRE BOULEVARD. Her problem? She now has writer’s block, is gun-shy and feeling the pressure after too much celebrity exposure too soon. Danny Peel (40’s). The gunman. Divorced. A former cop who was brought down by revenge from the guy he robbed, another dirty cop. Why did the cop he robbed bring him down if he was dirty too? He and his partner Vin were trying to do a home invasion at a dirty cop’s house in the Hollywood Hills. The cop shot him (in the arm), Vin got shot in the leg and shot and killed the cop -- and they got away with a large duffle bag of money. The problem now- every cop in the city is looking for them. I believe this feature will be a hit and could lead to the production of more features written by Carole A. Parker and other talented writers out of Georgia. We have resources at our disposal and want to keep all options open for distribution of these projects. I would love an opportunity to meet with an investor to discuss my vision. I look forward to hearing from your team and appreciate your time and consideration. -- Iesha Price Merry Price Productions LLC (URL removed) (Phone # removed)/(URL removed)
