Xgen Ventures Inc (Xgen) is a Canadian based Toronto Stock EXchange (TSX) Publicly Listed, but no longer trading, Natural Gas production and processing company. Xgen owns all above ground assets for producing and processing natural gas and all pipelines connecting to the Transcanada Pipeline for gas distribution throughout Canada. Xgen has independently validated large reserves of natural gas and oil. The last market assessment for Xgen assets (gas/oil and above ground hardware) suggests a market valuation upwards of $65,000,000 Cdn.
With the price of gas at an all time low the Executive Management team have researched and reviewed the Xgen operating mandate and are have seen a large market opportunity to use the low priced natural gas to generate high priced electricity. Placing gas turbines on the Xgen site as well as the neighboring gas producing sites will allow Xgen to generate upwards of 35MW of power as a minimum. Indeed the lower the price of natural gas the greater the margin for the power production. (As an important side note, Xgen is the ONLY gas processing facility within a 20 mile radius of the neighbouring gas production facilities. All natural gas production in the immediate area flows through the Xgen processing facility for onward transmission into the TransCanada Pipeline.)
Xgen management is now seeking investment to help move the company into the new a more profitable domain.
A number of operating scenarios and financial proformas have been developed for the generation of power ranging from 5MW to 35MW. With that in mind, investment opportunities range from a minimum of $10,000,000 to $45,000,000 and will depend on the investment limitations and the volume of power to be generated. Various terms of ROI have been calculated for each scenario and can be discussed in detail with the investor(s). Xgen will provide a GSA (General Security Agreement) and a Promissory Note against the investment.
