Description:
I'm a yogi who would like to have a yoga timer app that works for me. After trying all of the yoga timer apps on the app store, I designed an app in XCode for creating yoga sequences and timing the asanas.
The biggest challenge for me with all of the apps that I found was the lack of flexibility to change the number of minutes for sets within a sequence.
The app I've designed includes optional transitions before each asana, meditation or chant, thus giving the user the option to prerecord a voice prompt for moving to the next exercise.
The app also allows the user to create and store unlimited yoga sets, it keeps a library of modules that can be used for creating new sets and it keeps track of all the yogi's workouts.
I believe this app has the potential to be a great seller. I have talked to my yogi friends and they all agree that they can really use an app like this.
I don't know how to code, so I will need to hire someone to code it for me. I have reached out to someone I worked with through the design process, and he quoted me $5,000 for the coding and getting the app live on Apple's App Store. I'm guessing there is a lot more to getting the app noticed.
I'm looking for someone who's not only interested in investing money but who can help with getting this app properly marketed. I don't know how that process works, I just know that the app is much needed and I would really like to use it. :)
