HFluitt & Associates has been in the Talent Acquisition business for over twenty five years. Within this time, we've been exposed to both the corporate and start-up environments. I, personally, launched a, Green Field, Recruiting Firm and have been successfully doing business since September of 2002 with that firm. At HFluitt & Associates, we feel this has given us the "startup experience", which led us into the Director Level and C-Suite field of Executive Placements in the past six years. Our principles have never wavered; integrity, loyalty to clients & customers and a commitment to what you’re passionate about has always served as our guide to success. As detailed out in The Four Keys to Great Management, we focus on selecting talent, strengths, defined past outcomes and finding the right fit for an organization. With his passion for mentoring others in the career paths, he decided in 2001with two other partners to form The Phoenix Resource Group, Inc. with an initial focus in the permanent placement of Staff Nurses, and Hospital based Pharmacist’s nationwide. After a year or two of “growing pains” the firm carved out a niche through active membership initially in The Top Echelon Network a network of healthcare based small owner driven Search Firms and Consultants which allowed The Phoenix Resource Group to grow into the larger and more focused consulting and permanent placement of “C” level candidates. The firm moved from The Top Echelon Network into a small faith based organization.
January 2015 marks HFluitt & Associates, Inc. to move again into the Business Consulting and funding arena. We are going back into Restaurants, Healthcare, specifically Behavioural Health, community services, and any other concern that has a great business plan, and solid foundation for growth and profitability.
Herb has served as a mentor to numerous professionals in need of sound and ethical counsel in the gradual steps of their career path. Herb’s desire to give and receive sound counsel has led to him forming the “Mentor’s Circle” with some of his most trusted business associates. The members of the Mentor’s Circle meet via teleconference monthly to discuss individual businesses, offer support, counsel, and strategic alliances, with the goal of strengthening the business operations in each of their respective areas of expertise, while reaffirming their commitment to Faith.
Herb attended Florida State University & the University of South Florida from 1972 to 1974 with emphasis on Business Administration. He attained his Associates Degree in Human Resources Technology at Hillsborough Community College in 1976.
Herb enjoys running, exercising, and training for his first Marathon. His music tastes run from gospel to Classical, Classic Rock, Alternative, Jazz, Big Band, and of course Chicago or Mississippi Delta blues.
He resides in Clearwater Florida with his wife Sherri, one Cairn terrier (Wilbur), and three cats, Joey, Jenny, and Buster
