When company founded I owned a 52 unit Residential and Business in Augusta, Maine.
I now purchase homes, and rent with option to purchase or straight out owner finance, with money down.
I have 2 properties I own free and clear, on in Florida, one in Augusta Maine, 2500 sq foot colonial which is in the process of being rehabed, I own a house in Windham, Maine with my fiancee, valued at $265,00 as of December 07. We have rented this with option to purchase. We have done a contract with the Family Rent is $1,800 per month. Mortgage with taxes and insurance is $1400 per month. plus they pay additional 300.00 towards purchase. which is done on an amoritization for a number of years at 10%. I would like to find and investor to purchase the home for $239,000 which is a great reduction, and turn the note over to them.
I am continuing to work on my other properties but cash flow is getting a little low, as I have put a lot of money into the house I currently live in, I have owned this home since 1989, but just recently moved back in November 07. When we did rent option to purchase in Windham. The house in Augusta, I own free and clear, when completed, it will be worth between $150-$200,000. But, I have contacted one off my other investors for funds on this, but I am looking at all options. I love this type of busines. The home in Florida should be rented this week which I will be receiving $700,00 per month with 7 months up front.
So you can see, I have been in this type of business since approx 1979, started with a 4 unit apartment building, assumed the mortgage. I also have held other jobs, most recently managing 120 unit federal funding housing complex making $50,000 per year, but my doctor put me out off work do to illness caused by the job. I am waiting for settlement from Workers Compensation, so I am in the middle right now, and need funds to continue.
Sorry for so much information, I am also looking at changeing company name as I purchase most of the properites from my own funds. I also own land. So I have assetts need to be connected with somone that wants to pick up on the contracts already in place. I am good at what I do, I even have had realtors ask How I am able to get so much.
