In the 80´s Guatemala has not knowledge of eco-turisim, all Hotels have to be rated by stars. Hotel Laguna Real is a coffee farm located in the Pacaya Volcano Natural Reserve.
This small farm is near a small lagoon and just a few minutes from the Pacaya Volcano whis is always on activity and has a lot of tourist coming to see it every year.
It´s just an hour and a half from Guatemala City.
The idea behing of this Hotel is to found a spa and convention center making it one of a kind in Guatemala and maybe in central america.
We started building some rooms but because lack of cash flow the project had to be posponed.
