Description:
One-of-a-kind application of wide-area Radio Frequency IDentification (hybrid active/passive RFID) and Real Time Location Systems (RTLS) in public space. See (URL removed) for video and coverage map.
Consumers carry our domino-size device (the Omni) and as they walk around the city, work, shopping centers, or school and pass within 100' of an RFID sensor (OmniZone) we serve up a video, audio, or text message to their cell phone informing them of the location of their Facebook/Myspace friends, nearby family/friends/coworkers, VIP discounts at nearby retailers, discounts as Starbucks, restaurants, and movie theatres, and velvet-rope admissions.
With a client list of 100+ marquee advertisers, 20 receiver stations, and over 1,000,000 RFID "hits" last year, AWAREA is ready to scale. Patentable back-end and hardware make barrier to market entry strong. Our ecosystem is in place, tested, revenue generating, and poised to garner market-share especially when advertisers are HUNGRY for alternative and low-cost delivery channels to consumers AND our consumers (Omni carrying customers) are looking for real value when shopping or walking the streets.
