Description: First the waste comes in through the sorters. A sorters job is to remove all recyclables such as plastic, metal, etc. The second step is after being sorted, it is then sent through a shredder which shreds the waste to a 1 inch by 1 inch diameter. After being shredded it is sent through a shaker which removes all impurities such as chemicals, residue, etc. Next the waste is augured to a silo. A silo heats and dries materials to remove moisture. After 5 days of this process the waste is then augured to silo 2, during this process the waste is mixed with a dry chemical, which helps during silo 2’s process of drying out the material. After 5 more days of drying in silo 2; it is then augured to silo 3 and during this process a bio mix is added in. In silo 3 it is dried more to remove moisture for another 5 days. After these 5 days it is augured to silo 4 where along this process a wet chemical is added, the waste then sits and dries in silo 4 for 8 days. Then it is transferred to silo 5 where it is sprayed along the way with a Bio water mist, which is recycled water already used in the cleaning process before silo 1. It is then sent through another shredder which we refer to as the fine shredder. The fine shredder turns the waste into a dusty compound. Finally it is sent into the pellets mills where it is formed into 1 inch long pellets, and stored in DuPont containers to keep out moisture.
