PERITOGENICS was founded on the discovery that cancer cells and tumors of all types produce large amounts of inhibitor protein to block our killer lymphocytes, our main line of neoplastic (cancer) immunity. The inhibitor can be destroyed by purified specific antibodies. These can be directly administered into the abdominal cavity to reach most tumor types throughout the body. Preliminary results have been very encouraging. There are little or no side effects and the cost is a fraction of chemotherapy. The patent is undergoing upgrade and an IND is in final stages to the FDA to begin clinical trials. This will require immediate expansion of antibody production and enrollment of patient study sites at a cost of $5-10M over three to five years. It is anticipated that results will lead to an Orphan Drug Designation and fast track acceptance with third party reimbursment and early licensing and a health care industry worth hundreds of millions per year.We have added a medical director(M.D.,Ph.D.) for clinical Trials.
