Schwab's drug store, at 8000 Sunset Blvd in Hollywood, was that old fashioned grill and ice cream parlor. Schwab's is a Sunset Boulevard institution, a combination of soda-fountain, news-stand, tobacconist's and diner; it's crowded with movie people of one sort or another. A meeting place of movie actors and deal makers from the 30s through the 50s. Insiders referred to it as "headquarters".
