Description:
ADAPTIVE DIGITAL SIGN ADVERTISING
Market Background
The market potential is significant with the big three outdoor signage companies, CBS Outdoor (formerly Viacom), J.C. Decuax, and ClearChannel collectively having more than 3 million panels world-wide. Overall, there are an estimated 15 million signage panels in a market that is expected to double in size by 2010. Brands continue to seek alternative mediums for displaying advertisements, as traditional advertising methods such as print and television become less effective.
Value Proposition
IPushMedia (IPM)intends to aggressively address this rapidly growing market by producing state-of-the-art hardware and software solutions. IPM solutions will address a market that is presently evolving from being dominated by value added resellers to one that offers targeted, engineered solutions. The hardware component provides high definition playback from a low power, low cost and highly reliable device. The innovative software component gathers specific location traffic and adapts the predefined advertising content to optimize the effectiveness of the advertising. The cost of overall ownership to the customer is far lower than competitive product solutions.
Current situation
IPM has closed a number of contracts with customers such as:
· Clear Channel
· J.C. Decaux
· Philips Medical
· Pantel Systems
· Xiosk Corporation
· The National Baseball Hall of Fame
· Voss Restaurants Systems
· Thomas Kinkade Galleries
IPM are in discussions with the following customers (plus others);
· CBS Outdoor (formerly Viacom)
· General Motors Dealership Group
· MacDonald’s Korea
· Proctor & Gamble
· Aveda Spas
IPM is working with the CTO of J.C. Decaux on plans for converting a large percentage of their signage panels to digital in the coming years. CBS Outdoor executives have presented several RFQ’s for upcoming programs and will make high definition playback a requirement on future projects. To date, none of the current hardware providers have presented solutions capable of playing high definition content on signage panels. Solutions offered to date have been based largely upon the Intel X86 processor, which presents reliability problems due to excessive power consumption and overheating problems.
