Live Wire Publishing main objective is to create employment for Urban youth who are at risk of being a statistic. Many youth living in the urban communities are suffering from impoverished living conditions and don't have a outlet to express themselves. Thus they turn to the street for employment and self expression at a young age. Their future then are reduced into two realities- Prison or Death, sometimes (URL removed)e Wire belief is that by creating empolyment we become an option where there are little to none, thus we reduce the rate of early incarceration.
Live Wire Publishing was launched in early 2008, and it's first novel Check Mate was available for sale on August 22, 2008.
