Description: I currently own a small graphic design and printing broker company. One of the local vendors I broker my printing to - has been mis-managed and in trouble. The owner of the company does not spend enough time at the company's location and his personality and lack of communication skills with customers, has chased away some profitable clients. He is also unorganized which contributes greatly to his customer service issues. I have been in the printing and graphics trade since 1979 and I can easily identify the problems with his small printing company and the measures necessary to correct them. I may consider raising venture capital to acquire the business and quickly return it to a profitable business before it fails. At this point, I am only in the "idea" stage and have not prepared a business plan yet, nor do I know if the company is yet available. I am guessing approximately $250,000 will be needed for acquisition and operating expenses. But this estimate will need to be reviewed when more details become available.
