Description:
Hello,
My name is Greg and my wife and I are looking into starting a business in The Vernon/ South Windsor area. We would be taking the location of a similar business that the previous owner left the location set up well for our application, (she moved out of state with her husband).
The business concept is a "play house" Name is not 100% yet, for 1-4 year olds. This would be a mommy and me family oriented business. We would have several rooms, one for coloring/ painting, chalk, bouncing, reading, crawling and exploring on soft playhouses, etc. The concept is to give mothers/ caregivers a safe and fun place to take their young children to get energy out, learn their bodies, socialize their children and much more. There are similar businesses but aimed at older children and less focused. i.e. tot town, Romp & Roll, Bounce town.
These businesses are in giant rooms, which are overwhelming to a young child and mother. The niche our business will have is that it is aimed at the younger children 1-4 rather than the others aimed at older kids. Mothers will have a choice to walk/stay with their child, or let them explore the safe padded rooms themselves while keeping an eye on them. This business will be very community focused, educating new parents on CPR, first aid of their new families. A place for mothers/ Caregivers to go and talk about their issues and problems with others going through the same issues.
We have done a lot of research and area expecting to gross 60,000 our first year, 75,000 our second and moving close to 100,000 in the first 5 years. We have memberships available, day passes, punch passes, some camps available, over the counter sales, business partners lined up, and much more for revenue.
Being new to this website we are unsure of what the next step is, but wanted to get in contact with some one. Please contact me and let me know what the next step is, and what other info is needed.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this.
