Description:
As we have seen over the years the number one reason for dogs ending up in shelters is people can not control them, or they have behavior, training, or socialization problems.
We are proposing a way to fix the problem so dogs/puppies do not end up back at a shelter.
We will have a vet, behavior specialists, trainers, and at least a part time groomer at the facility, as well as volunteers. There will be someone on site at all times, to make sure the dogs get round the clock care.
We will be helping a community overrun with drop off dogs.
Certain dogs who are good candidates will be therapy trained so they can be utilized in Hospitals, retirement homes, and schools.
These dogs will be giving back to the community that has helped them through therapy training, educating the public about dog behavior, Bite prevention, and proper pet care. Our shelter dogs will remain with us until they go to their forever homes. We are NO kill!
We as a organization will also be giving back to the public, through education, job opportunities, training, and health care for our employees, low cost and Income based pet care for the general public
