Pharmacie is a new company that will create a unique artisanal yogurt experience in a European-style café setting. Located in the UC Berkeley area, the company will offer organic, fresh yogurt and frozen yogurt made from premium probiotic-focussed cultures with non-fat, low fat, and soymilk. Guests can choose from premium toppings like organic fruit purees, shaved callebaut chocolate, steal-cut oatmeal, and brownie bites. We will also offer mochi made from an old family recipe as well as baked goods. We will serve hand-drip coffee and espresso drinks made from Intelligentsia beans.
Our value proposition to customers is based on the creation of a premium yogurt experience in a magnetic, aesthetic, positive atmosphere. Repeat customers will come for the addictive yet healthy yogurt as part of their daily routine. In a cozy 1000-square foot setting, café seating will be available, while many guests will prefer to take their treats to go. We will fill a niche for premium probiotic fresh yogurt and frozen yogurt, as well as a largely unmet need for healthy “fast food” in the UC Berekeley area. The company will expand through new stores and acquisitions.
