Barricades and Signs, Ltd. was created in 2004 when the rental division of then Barricade Illumination Service was bought by J. Robert van Bruggen. Since that time, the company has expanded its market share in the traffic control rental industry and has expanded aggressively into sales and services related to this industry and all aspects of construction and traffic safety.
We have entered the market in a service niche. We have realised that many many customers in the industry have been unhappy with the level of service available from the lone major supplier and have consequently focused on a customer-driven service model based on flexibility and innovative solutions.
We are a family company with a desire to build a business that reflects the values and integrity that are vital to our family. This also allows us to remain flexible, service oriented and maintain low over-head costs.
