Description:
IEI is a not-for-profit, certified 501(c)(3) organisation, established with the mission of promoting the efficient production and use of energy in 1991. While we at the Asian branch have been pursuing IEI’s mission during the past 20 years, our focus has been on improving access to energy, while conserving resources, preserving the environment, and developing the region. In this regard, we have designed and implemented projects that integrate better energy services (cooking fuel, lighting, water-pumping, etc.), particularly in rural areas, with efficient resource-use, clean energy carriers, and improved livelihood.
