Business goals and objectives
Profitability- Increasing annual sales by 10 percent and landing three new accounts each month with schools, local teams and government agencies.
Customer Service- To develop a perception that your company is easy to do business with and to improve your response time to customer complaints.
Retention- to develop and implement a training program that details new-hire activities for the first 90 days on the job. To establish one-on-one meetings with your employees in an effort to build rapport and find out what's on their mind.
Efficiency- challenge salespeople to improve their closing ratio from 30 percent to 45 percent and offer bonuses for achievements.
Growth- To open three more stores within a seven-year period. To increase store selling space by 25 percent by completing an addition to your building within a year.
Form of business ownership
Sole proprietor
Pricing Decisions- Three important factors are whether the buyers perceive the product offers value, how many buyers there are, and how sensitive they are to changes in price. I believe that Figuring out how consumers will respond to prices involves judgment as well as research.
Location- I feel that location is a key factor that will affect my business because if you are not in a visible or high traffic area you will get old customers that you may have done business with in the past but you will not receive walk in customers at the rate that is optimal to survive or expand as a small business.
